CLAVICLE
The clavicle forms the ventral portion of the shoulder girdle. It is a long curved bone like an italic "S", situated almost horizontally just above the first rib. It articulates medially with the sternal manubrium and laterally with the scapula acromion. It has two ends, two faces and two edges.
